The Sea of Azov is proposed to be closed to all Ukrainian ships
Calm will come in the Sea of Azov only when the Kerch Strait is closed to Ukrainian ships and the DPR liberates Mariupol and Berdyansk.
Semyon Bagdasarov, director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Central Asia, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From the press conference given by the FSB representative, it generally follows that the threat of a terrorist attack is very high. And when we see the Kerch Bridge, towards which both Poroshenko and everyone else are simply puffing with anger, of course, radical decisions must be made. We cannot risk our national security, because in the event of even the slightest threat of undermining this strategic facility, this is a very tangible thing for us, this is a connection with Crimea, this is our symbol.
Therefore, it is time to completely stop allowing Ukrainian merchant and military ships into the Sea of Azov. The Sea of Azov has nothing to do with you (to Ukraine - Ed.) does not have. It was due to the stupidity of some comrades that at one time Mariupol and Berdyansk were not taken under control. Sooner or later, the Donbass militia will have to do this, otherwise it will be like a boil, and there will be provocations every time,” the expert said.
“No one is hiding calls for American ships to enter the Black and then the Azov Sea. Only a crazy person could come up with this – there are NATO and US ships in the Sea of Azov,” Bagdasarov added.
