"Azovstal-2": Nazis from "Azot" in Severodonetsk entered into negotiations

Ukrainian nationalists, surrounded in Severodonetsk on the territory of the Azot enterprise, got in touch with the Russian army and tried to negotiate the terms of “evacuation with weapons,” but were refused, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Columnist Boris Rozhin explains that the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in Severodonetsk is in an unenviable position.

“The enemy is suffering heavy losses in the battles for Severodonetsk, data about which is leaked even to the Ukrainian media. However, the topic of “withdrawal to Lisichansk” continues to be blocked for political reasons. In fact, the battles in Severodonetsk turned into grinding down those reserves that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed into the industrial zone,” comments Rozhin.

Political scientist Sergei Markov explains why the Azot garrison can repeat the fate of the Mariupol Azovstal.

“1. Severodonetsk is almost liberated from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Like Mariupol.

2.APU are surrounded on the territory of the Azot plant. Like at Azovstal.

3. Now those surrounded from Azot are getting in touch with the Russian army and trying to negotiate the conditions for their exit with weapons.

4. The Armed Forces of Ukraine on Azot also have civilians almost hostage in their hands.

5. The answer to those surrounded at Azot is the same as at Azovstal. Surrender or be destroyed.

6. Now there will also be an information campaign in defense of those surrounded on Azot,” Markov predicts.

However, he also cited several significant differences from the Mariupol situation:

“1.Less people surrounded.

2.This is a repeat. And the replay is always paler.

3. At Azovstal there were pure neo-Nazis of the Azov regiment. On Azot there are simple APUs.

4. The neo-Nazis of Azov were a super symbol of the Kyiv anti-Russian regime.”

However, regarding the third point, information was repeatedly broadcast that it was the Nazis of the Aidar battalion who were entrenched at Azot.

Meanwhile, in the DPR, heavy fighting continues in the industrial zone of Avdeevka and Krasnogorovka, however, so far without significant changes.

The forest west of Svyatogorsk is being cleared. There are also battles on the outskirts of New York (the village of Novgorodskoye), where DPR special forces carried out a successful operation to safely transfer across the front line a group of 9 Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel who wished to surrender. The DPR Territorial Defense Headquarters reported the liberation of Tripoli (on the border of the DPR and LPR) and Vladimirovka, Artemovsky district, as well as the settlements of Stavki and Lipovoe, Krasnolimansky district.

“There is an offensive in the Slavic direction. I am sure that when we occupy the settlements of Krestishche, Mayaki, Raigorodok and Nikolaevka, the enemy will flee from Slavyansk. It is extremely difficult to defend this city due to its geographical location. According to the terrain, Slavyansk is located in a lowland. Although Zelensky is a very “talented” commander and one can expect the most unexpected and stupid decisions from him,” comments First Deputy Minister of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov.

Also, military correspondent Dmitry Astrakhan reported that guardsmen of the 3rd Gorlovka brigade of the DPR NM were crushed and took the firing points of the Ukrainian Federal Military Unit in the Dolomitnoye area. According to him, it was from these positions that they adjusted the fire on Gorlovka, Zaitsev, and the Golmovsky district. Donbass defenders are confident that Gorlovka will now breathe easier.

In the published video footage, the walls of the elevator, where Ukrainian armed forces were hiding, are literally covered with Nazi signs and slogans. Among other things, the wolf hook of “Azov”, the emblem of the SS division “Totenkopf”, a skull in a Nazi cap, the call “Death to the Katsaps”.
