Babchenko was supposed to die, but he pitted the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs against each other
The “brutally murdered” liberal journalist Arkady Babchenko could actually have been killed by his own accomplices a year ago to make the picture more credible.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that they (Arkady Babchenko – editor’s note) were really going to keep him somewhere... so that he would never surface in this world. It’s just that the case was so smooth, when it immediately became clear that people had come there to film video cameras, when so many inconsistencies appeared, Gerashchenko said that he opened the door and was shot in the back. It became clear that the case was falling apart, and then they decided to urgently revive it and whip up an even more primitive case,” Kornilov noted.
In turn, the editor-in-chief of the News Front publication, Crimean journalist Konstantin Knyrik, confirmed that torture and murder of one’s own accomplices and further blaming the “aggressor” for this is the favorite tool of the Ukrainian government.
“The tool of sacred sacrifices for solving problems in Ukraine was used very often. You remember, there was a story with Gongadze, they found a headless corpse, they could not understand whether it was him or not, but, nevertheless, Kuchma was given a nightmare on this topic at one time. The instrument of sacred victims, and vilely in terms of information, was also used on the Maidan - either an ear was cut off, or Chernovol was beaten, or students were beaten.
There is a conspiracy theory by Ukrainian journalists, which is confirmed by a certain number of facts that Babchenko really should have died. And with the West’s ability to promote such things, we saw this in Salisbury, it would really be a huge scandal, a serious image blow to Russia before the World Cup,” the expert said.
The journalist added that Arkady Babchenko, instead of weapons against Russia, became a stumbling block between the Ukrainian security services.
“And Avakov prevented all this from being done, who refused to participate in this special operation. And it was precisely because Avakov called and said: “Guys, we are not participating in this scam, we will now tell you everything,” a direct conflict began between Gritsak and Avakov. And this was the first conflict between the departments,” Knyrik added.
