Babchenko makes excuses that he had to get away from “agents of the aggressor”
The fugitive Russian liberal propagandist Arkady Babchenko, who supported Euromaidan and previously settled in Kyiv, emigrated from Ukraine because he saw that the country was “not going in the right direction.”
On air on the ATR TV channel, he stated that he moved with his family, because now Russia is allegedly sending its agents to Ukraine and it is dangerous for him and his family to be in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I wrote six months ago that if the situation develops in the wrong direction, then I’ll pack up my clothes and leave. Well, the situation began to develop in the wrong direction. The boy said - the boy did it, I collected my clothes and left, because I have no desire to subject my family to participation in experiments. I'm afraid there is no good way out of this situation...
I think the situation is not going for the better. Military, with Russia. I am afraid that the aggressor will not miss such a moment, I think that he is no longer missing it - look, at the moment control is lost and has not been fully restored, I think that taking advantage of this niche, weakness in control, the aggressor is now sending into Ukraine with crowds of their insurgents, spies, KGB officers,” Babchenko said.
