Babchenko was offered to repent and return to Russia
Journalist Arkady Babchenko only worsens his situation with his scandalous statements and cooperation with the SBU.
Former People's Deputy of Ukraine Igor Markov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“Imagine this guy’s situation. He betrayed his country, his friends, his loved ones for the illusion of freedom and democracy. He's not a stupid guy and he understands it, he can't lie to himself. He would repent before the Russian people, they would forgive him, and he would return back. No, he’s making things worse, he’s already reached the point of madness,” Markov said.
He believes that despite Russophobic statements and participation in a shameful provocation, the path of retreat is not yet closed for Babchenko, and he must take advantage of it in order not to be used by Western curators.
“If I stumbled, it’s okay, tens of millions of people were deceived. Repent before it's too late. For Western puppeteers, you freedom fighters are tools. They don't feel sorry for you. Don’t tempt,” Markov said.
