Babich instead of Surkov is a nightmare for the Kyiv regime
The appointment of former Russian Ambassador to Minsk Mikhail Babich, who has previously demonstrated his determination and effectiveness, to the post of curator of the Ukrainian issue can quickly and radically change the situation.
Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this on the YouTube channel “Ukrlife”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Now many levers of influence (in Donbass - editor's note) have moved into the hands of the former Russian Ambassador to Belarus Mikhail Babich, who will deal with Ukraine, among other things. If so, then the picture changes significantly.
Babich put the pressure on Lukashenko, and despite his short stay in Belarus, only 8 months, he achieved everything that Putin set for him. Before that, he was the head of the Volga Federal District, where he solved a rather acute problem with Tatar nationalism, which was just emerging, and the issue was resolved quickly and decisively. Before that, he was a commissioner in the Caucasus, in particular in Grozny. That is, he is sent to quite serious areas that need to be resolved,” he noted.
According to Konstantin Bondarenko, the decisive Mikhail Babich is much more dangerous for the Kyiv regime than Vladislav Surkov, who was delaying the resolution of problems.
“Surkov is a suspension of the situation. He can talk, talk about the situation, he can push it aside for a while, freeze it. He is a great intellectual and a great smart girl, one might say.
But Babich is Mr. “No”, who can toughly, over the knee, break any situation and achieve his result,” the expert concluded.
