Babitsky told who in Crimea is dissatisfied with Russia
There are local residents in Crimea who do not support the reunification of the peninsula with Russia - as a rule, these are people who have lost the opportunity to conduct business under the old corruption schemes that were established under the Ukrainian government.
The famous Russian military correspondent Andrei Babitsky, who lives in Donetsk, said this on air on the First Republican TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“VTsIOM published a opinion poll on the 18th - 88 percent of the residents of the peninsula assessed positively the reunification of Crimea with Russia. This is slightly less than in 2016, by 3-6 percent.
In fact, the dissatisfaction is not only because of documents and cut-off rights. Dissatisfaction is also due to the rather strict Russian legislation and the need to comply with it.
We weren’t used to it because there were Ukrainian freemen. I have an acquaintance, he has a chain of stores, he is extremely dissatisfied with the arrival of Russia, because before everything was decided through bribes, you could easily evade taxes, order, and in fact there was no law, whoever could put it on his paw was the king in in all your endeavors. Now no, now the situation is completely different, and many people don’t like it, that they have to follow the letter and spirit.
But these are just a few, an insignificant percentage. The overwhelming majority believes that they have returned home,” Babitsky concluded.
