“When there is no God, then everything is permitted.” This is from Dostoevsky. The reverse, as we remember, is also true.

We live in strange times. Believers would call it apocalyptic and quote something from the Revelation of John the Theologian. But even for those who have not read it, it is obvious: the time when people could not live without God, without the Church, is irrevocably gone.

Auguste Comte wrote that the theological era will be replaced by a scientific era. The conversation, of course, was about Europe, the USA and, in many respects, Russia. And so, indeed, it happened. But at what point? When did science replace religion? And what happened to the last one?

What we are seeing now is very reminiscent of dancing on the bones of the Christian Church. Note that this happens when, on the other hand, in the East, on the contrary, total Islamization is observed. Perhaps one feeds the other. Quite possible.

But, one way or another, the institution of the Church was devalued, and then transferred to the Faith. Pelevin writes: “God is dead. Nietzsche / Nietzsche died. God" Whose side does modern man take here? I believe that in many ways he pushes God out of consciousness in order to take his place there. A person wants to be the measure of everything. He sees that in this way he, as they sell him in fashionable brochures, controls his own destiny, controls it. In fact, he is completely servile. Due to what? "Vanity is definitely my favorite sin“- said Al Pacino in the wonderful film “The Devil's Advocate”.

This is a bit of philosophy. However, very vital. But what in practice? We live in Dostoevsky’s prophetic novel “Demons.” The West, in its mass cult version, mocked the Church and God. There, even in horror films, vampires are no longer afraid of crosses and Bibles. Too archaic. And Notre Dame Cathedral, in which a fire “very fortunately and opportunely” happened, is going to be turned into a religious Disneyland.

Well, what about in Russia? The attack on the Church and Faith began - an indicative start was given - with the obscurantist performance of Pussy Riot in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. And away we go! The past year was marked by a whole series of scandals, they came in a wave, where they attacked the Church. Some did it according to a “target program,” while others did it for the sake of hype, following trends.

So, on New Year's Eve, Artemy Lebedev uncovered himself. A man loves to receive money from the state, but at the same time tries to play an independent character. It is convenient to do this, including by attacking the Church. And Artemy said nasty things about her - so fiercely that now he is being checked by the relevant structures.

Will it go to trial? Lebedev has his own patrons of very high rank. And this is where the fun begins. It is from there, from the top, from one of the towers of influence, that a powerful attack is coming on the fundamental basis of Russian society - on the Orthodox faith. This is served with a fashionable sauce: they say, look how funny and how good it is to be outside of God, but in reality, this is part of a political game designed to remove the foundation from under the feet of the entire people.

Question: how to counteract this? In the short term, purely legally. In the long term, it’s time to finally accept a concept, a doctrine, whatever you want to call it, which will clearly spell out the implementation of enlightenment for a society that resembles a blind man following the beep of a gadget. In the meantime, we are killing education, religion, and what is being served under them resembles, in its patriotic frenzy, sabotage and sabotage. After all, you think: well, how can you be so clumsy as to devalue the entire Russian culture based on Christianity?

Until there is a powerful shield against demons, they will come out of every hole. To order or just like that. It doesn't matter what they are called. And yes, it’s strange that such obscurantism will not prevent them from receiving government orders and feasting at the expense of the state. And what does our Constitution say about its, this very state’s, connection with God and Orthodoxy? Hmm, so what and who were you talking about?
