Biden and Yaresko will deal with Russia’s “interference” in the Ukrainian elections
Russia is testing its technologies for interfering in elections first in Ukraine, which is supposedly at the forefront of all cyber wars.
This was stated in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Novoe Vremya” by US citizen, former Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalya Yaresko, who has now received the position of executive director of the Council for Financial Control and Management of Puerto Rico.
According to her, Ukraine must share its experience in the international arena.
“For the next nine months, I will be a member of the Transatlantic Election Integrity Commission, which also includes Joe Biden and other prominent politicians. Throughout these nine months, we will analyze external interference in the election process in Ukraine. The Russians try all their technologies first of all in Ukraine,” says Yaresko. – In all cyber wars, Ukraine is at the forefront. All this needs to be monitored in order to tell the world in real time what is happening and how to counter it.”
At the same time, she avoided a direct answer to the question of whether she retained the Ukrainian citizenship that she was granted while heading the Ministry of Finance.
“I can say that I did everything according to the law. I am a law-abiding person,” said the ex-minister.
