"Biden plays 'tough cowboy.' Moscow will not limit itself to the “tomato” option
The recall of the Russian ambassador from Washington became a red flag in relations between the two countries.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, Komsomolskaya Pravda writes.
“The recall of the ambassador from the host country “for consultations” is clearly interpreted as a red flag, the strongest alarm signal in bilateral relations. No extremely harsh statements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with wording like “we assess the actions of such and such a party as completely unacceptable and reserve the right...” cannot be compared with this measure. And even calling a foreign ambassador to Smolenskaya Square to present him with a verbal or written note of protest are muslin ceremonies against the backdrop of the urgent recall of their ambassador from the country, whose actions are becoming unacceptable,” the newspaper writes.
“Suffering from senile dementia, as many observers, including those with a medical background, not without reason believe, Joe Biden allowed himself to directly insult the head of state, who could end the existence of his country,” the material says.
“In truth, it’s sad to watch how the frail and often confused old man Biden pretends to be a tough cowboy. “He will pay me... I won’t allow it... That’s what I told him...” Maybe in his old age the spirit of Clint Eastwood moved into him? Or maybe a little more, and the feigned power of “Iron Arnie” will make him menacingly mutter “I’ll be back!”?
But for now, by God, it’s not scary. The place of the clown among world presidents has already been taken by a professional. And the “tough guy” in the White House even evokes a certain regret - let those who are younger grimace,” the author believes.
In addition, the article predicts that Moscow’s response will be quite tough, although previously the Russian Federation has never behaved “defiantly” with the United States and its allies, realistically assessing its strengths and capabilities.
“Therefore, we can hardly expect extravagant steps and statements on our part. But Moscow is unlikely to limit itself to the “tomato” option known from the Turkish crisis,” the publication summarizes.
Let us recall that Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a “killer”, which, according to experts, close to declaration of war.
Thereafter The Russian Ambassador to the United States was recalled to Moscow for consultations.
