Biden may give Ukraine to Putin in exchange for Venezuela – expert
The meeting between the presidents of the United States and Russia is the number one topic in Russian politics, and at this meeting an “exchange” is possible, as a result of which Ukraine will move into Russia’s sphere of influence.
Vasily Vakarov, a political and international expert, stated this on Ukrlife.tv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about the short term, this is topic number one. It is discussed here very seriously. Just today, the Russian Foreign Ministry released information that Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov held negotiations with Blinken. They talked about the forum that is being prepared in Reykjavik, where there will be a separate meeting between Lavrov and Blinken. They, as heads of foreign ministries, talked about a possible meeting, that is, they had already discussed the date of the visit and the schedule of the meeting between Biden and Putin. That is, a meeting of two presidents is being prepared here.
For me, as a resident of Ukraine, it is important whether an exchange will take place. Foreign policy is a very cynical thing. Biden and Putin, they understand perfectly well that they can agree on those things where their interests coincide. Where can a compromise be found? But in others they will not. In fact, they can exchange influence on Ukraine, give Ukraine under the influence of the Russian Federation. Then Russia will cede Venezuela or some other country to the United States. Of course, these are my assumptions,” Vakarov carefully summarized.
