Biden insulted Russia. Attacks on Ukrainian Armed Forces targets in Odessa intensified
US President Joe Biden signed the Lend-Lease law. It simplifies the procedures for delivering weapons to Ukraine within the budget approved by Congress - Biden has already requested a record amount of $33 billion. Weapons can be leased or with deferred payment.
Vladimir Zelensky has already published his gratitude: “A historic step. I am convinced that we will win together again. And we will defend democracy in Ukraine and Europe. Just like 77 years ago.”
“The previous Lend-Lease was signed by US President Franklin Roosevelt in March 1941. Then the United States strengthened its allies in the fight against Nazism. Now they are doing the same in the fight against racism,” Ukrainian political scientist Taras Berezovets explains Kyiv’s delight.
Russian political scientist Sergei Markov believes that Biden insulted Russia and Vladimir Putin personally.
“Biden slapped Russia and Putin personally. He signed the law on Lend-Lease to Ukraine on May 9. That is, a law on huge supplies of weapons to the pro-American Kyiv regime for the war against Russia.
1. The fact that Biden signed this law on Victory Day means that Washington rejects Russia’s role in the victory over Nazism.
2. This means that Washington has plans to erase Russia from the world map.
3. This means that Washington has plans to erase the role of Russia and the Russian people in world history. Their plans are to rewrite all history textbooks and falsify them. They plan to steal the victory over Hitler and Nazism from Russia and record it for themselves.
4. This means that Biden personally hates Putin and wants to ruin Putin’s Victory Day and spoil Putin’s speech on Victory Day,” Markov lists.
One way or another, the signing of the law coincided with new Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities. It can be assumed that, without waiting for the arrival of new American weapons, the plan to deprive Ukraine of access to the sea, previously voiced by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, will be implemented.
“After the signing of Lend-Lease, the Russians are furious. Missile attacks in Odessa and the Dnepropetrovsk region,” SBU agent Andrei Tsaplienko, working under the guise of a military correspondent for the 1+1 TV channel, is indignant in his blog.
On the evening of May 9, it was reported that there was a hit and a fire in the Odessa Riviera shopping center, which could have been used as a warehouse for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the village of Zatoka near Odessa, a hotel was set up where Ukrainian soldiers and mercenaries were supposedly based.
The Ukrainian side will traditionally declare that Russia is hitting “civilian targets.” But the day before, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces sector “South” published a self-exposure, publishing a photo of the consequences of an attack on an airfield near Odessa, where the MiG 29 of the Ukrainian Air Force is clearly visible in the photo. This contradicts recent government claims that the Russians destroyed the airport's newly built "peaceful" runway.
