Biden will not block Nord Stream 2
If Donald Trump, as US President, prevented the construction of Nord Stream 2 so that the US could increase LNG exports to the EU, then Joe Biden will not continue this policy, since he is an opponent of the development of the US oil and gas industry and may try to make money on construction of Nord Stream 2.
Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the UKRLIFE.TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Trump blocked Nord Stream 2 for the economic purpose of selling liquefied gas. There was logic. Biden is killing his shale industry. It literally roars, there is a groan. Trade unions write letters: “Why, we, damned Joseph, supported you in the elections, and you immediately ditch us!” Hydraulic fracturing is already prohibited on federal lands. There really is that groan there. But since they were for Trump, their groan was not heard. Invisible to the world, so to speak, are the tears of the oil barons. Maybe crocodiles.
I have already encountered, perhaps more of a conspiracy theory, that an American company could enter there (in Russian-German projects), for example. Does Biden have a few energy companies? Some kind of “Burisma” will be. This is for the good. And whoever says that Burisma is not good is playing into the hands of the Trumpists. And the same “Burisma” will be for the benefit of Europeans. Russians don’t care,” said Dmitry Dzhangirov.
