As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the former Technical Minister of Internal Affairs of Albania, Dritan Demiraj, spoke rather harshly about the actions of the country's head of government, Edi Ram.

The reason for criticism was the fact that the prime minister, instead of supporting former militants of the Kosovo Liberation Army in connection with the start of the process against them in The Hague, met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and North Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev about the “Balkan mini-Schengen”.

According to Demiraj, Albanians became "witnesses of the greatest and open betrayal of Edi Rama against the interests of the nation."

“You should be very concerned about the arrival of pro-Albanian President Joe Biden at the White House,” Demiraj told Rama. “Because very soon, national and international justice, led by the Biden administration, will consign you to the dustbin of history, just as you deserve.”

At the same time, the day before, Edi Rama, implementing the Donald Trump administration’s “Balkan mini-Schengen” project, made a prediction that Kosovo, and then Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro would soon join it.

“Without a doubt, there is no better alternative than to talk and share our experiences and look at each other from the point of view of the future. This is what we are doing today and what we will do tomorrow, and history will judge us by this,” concluded Rama.
