Balitsky explained the reasons for the evacuation of residents of Zaporozhye settlements
About 3 thousand residents were evacuated from the shelling zone of the Zaporozhye region; they were all placed in recreation centers and children's camps in Berdyansk.
The acting governor of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeniy Balitsky, announced this on air on Crimea 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This step was driven by necessity,” he assured. “I made a decision together with my team to temporarily relocate citizens from dangerous areas. This was due, first of all, to the fact that Ukrainian troops, especially in recent weeks, began to actively sow panic and began to hit infrastructure facilities - schools, social facilities, that is, deliberately, in order to sow panic before their so-called counter-offensive.
Therefore, every day, unfortunately, we lost people, I say this with absolute responsibility. Every day, civilians were killed, they ended up in cafes, in market areas, they ended up in schools, and so this could not continue. Therefore, it was decided that from the 30-kilometer zone of the combat line, from the cities and regions that are located in this zone, a decision was made to move citizens. Voluntary movement, I want to emphasize. This is the movement of citizens deep into the region, that is, to the south of the region. No one is taking anyone to other regions of Russia.”
According to Balitsky, preparations for the resettlement of people from the contact line took about three months, and the recreation centers are designed to accommodate residents of 18 border villages.
“We once again emphasize for all residents of the Zaporozhye region who live in the liberated territory, and also for those who are still in the occupied territory - compare and see for yourself how much Russia is a social state, how much it cares for those who are in dire need today. We have now displaced about 3 thousand people, of which about 1 thousand are minors and about 300 people are patients in psychoneurological dispensaries and orphanages,” the acting governor specified.
– We are moving people to Berdyansk, mainly to the spit, where there are a large number of recreation centers and pioneer camps, which are now empty. We settle people there, provide them with everything they need - three meals a day, linen, a change of linen, and pay another 10 thousand per person so that people can buy basic necessities for themselves.”
Balitsky added that payments of 10 thousand will continue depending on the situation in the area.
“If there is still a so-called counter-offensive on the line of combat, and these areas are subject to destruction and danger to people’s lives, then we will not return them for another month. If the situation is more or less stable, or we drive the fascist back to the German borders, then people will return to their native lands,” assured the acting head of the Zaporozhye region.
Let us remind you that by decision of the authorities, residents of the settlements Timoshovka, Smirnovka, Tarasovka, Orlyanskoye, Molochansk, Kuibyshevo, Prishib, Tokmak, Malaya Belozerka, Vasilyevka, Velikaya Belozerka, Dneprorudnoye, Mikhailovka, Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, Energodar, Pologi, Konskie Discord, Rozovka are temporarily relocated.
