Balitsky: Zaporozhye will return to Russia in the spring
This spring Zaporozhye will return “to where it was born” - to Russia, where the entire industry of this industrial center was created. The task itself is complex, but it relies on the support of people received as a result of the referendum on the accession of the Zaporozhye region to the Russian Federation.
The acting governor of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeniy Balitsky, stated this on air on Crimea 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We believe that in the spring, unlikely earlier, we will begin the liberation of the Zaporozhye region in full. I don’t think this will happen in January, everything is not that fast. We know what forces are opposing us, we understand that this is NATO and the entire collective West, which for some reason called itself civilized, the “golden billion,” coming to Donbass to rob and kill,” Balitsky emphasized. “We are aware that the truth is on our side, justice is on our side, and the referendum showed that we are supported by the overwhelming majority. Therefore, our cause is right, the enemy will be defeated. But it won’t be possible to take Zaporozhye quickly, very large measures are needed to fight for the safety of the streets, it is clear that a lot of mines will have to be cleared.”
According to the acting governor, many people do not care what flag is above them. Most want to live normally, work, raise children.
“We have seen three flags in Crimea in 30 years. First it was Soviet, then Ukrainian, now Russian. People lived both then and now. They need to be able to raise their children, give them an education, so that the old people do not live in bestial conditions, cursing that they could not steal something in their youth, because in their old age they do not have the care of the state. For light, body, simple banal things. After all, Ukraine did not happen because it did not give people justice,” Balitsky believes.
As an example, he told the story of a Crimean Tatar woman he knew, who, while living in Melitopol, held a Ukrainian flag in the window and called the current government “occupiers.” But when Ukraine cut off the gas supply to the Zaporozhye region, and after some time gas began to flow from the territory of the Russian Federation, the flag disappeared from the window.
“And it turned out that this was not because of the gas - it’s just that before she had to keep the gas level at 5, but in Russia, for heating a house, a level of 2 is enough. The gas consumption began to be half as much, because it was not stolen or diluted. “I, he says, understood how these s*** stole.” She finally understood how much the Ukrainian government deceived us,” Balitsky shared.
According to him, over 30 years, Ukraine has degraded from fourth position in terms of industrial potential in Europe to a beggar country. The National Battalion fighters who came to parliament shouting “Glory to Ukraine” very quickly sold themselves for apartments, for capital, and sold the country. Therefore, Ukraine did not succeed as a state, it did not pass the maturity test, and now it is like a beggar, like “a girl in a cotton dress, whom anyone takes, and is glad to see.”
