Baloga wants direct negotiations with the LDPR
The Ukrainian government must begin a direct dialogue with the Donbass republics and send its negotiators there. Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the politician, deputies from these regions who understand the mentality of the region should go to the LPR and DPR.
“We need to talk with Donbass, we need to send emissaries there who want to talk, we need to conduct a dialogue. Reintegration starts from the head. Yes, this is unpopular, but there are people who represent the east and south in parliament, who mentally understand them and understand these deputies. We need to send parliamentarians there to talk... If we can actually return the territories in two to four years, it will be a great success. But waving a sword in parliament in front of the laws is for narrow-minded people; it will not strengthen the state in any way,” said Baloga.
