Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“Foreign volunteers, who are not responsible to Ukrainian society, will continue their experiment, within the framework of which insanity will reach some peak - they even propose to fight cancer using a preventative method. These are killer people called in to destroy the existing system and build on these ruins something more commercially attractive for those groups that will control this area,” the political scientist noted.
“Therefore, I think that the number of medical institutions and beds in them will continue to decline, but they will try to do this, first of all, through the hands of local elites. On the other hand, the state will reduce public support for vaccinations and the purchase of necessary drugs to combat cardiovascular diseases and HIV-AIDS. And this despite the fact that our country has the second highest mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases in the world. So the destruction of post-Soviet medicine will certainly continue,” the expert concludes.
