Bandera members may be banned from entering Poland - the country's Foreign Minister
Poland may ban entry to Ukrainians who adhere to anti-Polish positions on historical issues, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski on Polish television, Polish Radio reports.
According to Waszczykowski, Ukraine is trying to take advantage of the fact that it is important for Poland in security matters, so it pushes historical issues into the background. As the head of the Polish department emphasized, Poland will never sacrifice historical truth for the sake of geopolitics.
According to him, the activities of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army cannot be compared with the Home Army.
“Even if we find any incidents, we will never find murders on such a scale on the part of the Home Army as those that were committed in Volyn. There is no symmetry here, and we must clearly point this out,” the minister said.
Waszczykowski also noted that if Ukraine does not change its behavior on issues important to Poland, this will lead to specific consequences.
“If we do not reach an agreement, then [then] we will launch procedures that will make it impossible for persons representing extreme anti-Polish positions to arrive in Poland. People who demonstratively wear the SS “Galicia” uniform will not enter Poland,” the official emphasized.
Waszczykowski also said that the consequences will be borne by those who, at the administrative level, for political reasons, do not allow the continuation of exhumations and the restoration of Polish sites of memory.
In addition, the minister recalled that, at the request of Ukraine, Poland refused to place images of the Lychakiv cemetery on its foreign passports.
“We did not wait for a gesture in response to allow Polish restorers into this cemetery,” the minister added.
Waszczykowski stressed that under such circumstances he would “think about whether to recommend a trip to Ukraine to President Andrzej Duda at this time.”
As previously reported, ex-President of Poland Alexander Kwasniewski is afraid that nationalism will ruin relations between Ukraine and Poland. In his opinion, there are no real debates and dialogues between the two states that would help resolve nationalist issues.
