Bandera turned out to be champions of genocide
There was no genocide of Ukrainians during the famine of the 30s in the USSR, which cannot be said about the actions of Bandera’s followers against Poles or Jews.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement, writer and publicist Sergei Kurginyan stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The biggest mistake is that this whole problem was in the USSR outside the zone of free discussion; this gave rise to everything. If there had been free discussion in the late 80s, the results of the political process would have been different. Since this discussion did not take place, and we were afraid of a lot of things, including hurting the pride of the Ukrainian people and so on, a lot of distortions arose.
We did not discuss Bandera’s crimes as they should have been discussed, we were afraid of the inevitable excessive cruelty in these discussions, this is how it was discussed in Poland. Since Poland was in our bloc, we stopped it too, and so on. It’s the same with the “Holodomor,” the expert said.
“We are in 2019 and we know everything about this “Holodomor”! We all know what happened there, and it has nothing to do with any ethnocide or anything else. But we also know very well what the genocide of Poles or Jews, carried out by Bandera’s scoundrels, is. And we want to know why it was necessary to bomb an absolutely civilian population with heavy aircraft in Lugansk, which is an unheard-of crime against humanity in another era.
So whose cow would moo, and yours would be silent about genocides and everything else! Because you, dear ones, are champions in this matter, following the Nazis,” Kurginyan added.
