For the first time in history, Bandera supporters filled the Kyiv City Council hall 100%
The Ukrainian nationalist party “Svoboda” held “Bandera readings” today in the session hall of the Kyiv City Council. The capital's deputy and organizer of the event, Yuri Sirotyuk, did not hide his joy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For the first time, the hall of the Kyiv City Council, since the Soviet occupation, since the independence of Ukraine, is one hundred percent filled with nationalists and Banderaites. And the presidium of the session hall too,” he said to thunderous applause.
Sirotyuk said that such a gathering in honor of the Hitler collaborator is supposedly a normal practice for Europe, where, thanks to the ideas of nationalism, states emerged from the ruins of empires.
“This is traditional and normal in any European country, which all rebelled from nationalism, all were built by nationalists. Because modern Europe is a product of nationalism, a product of nationalists. This is a continent of nation-states,” added the right-wing radical.
