The far-right Spanish ultras of the Betis club came to support the disgraced footballer, with whom Zozulya took a photo under the hotel where his meeting with the club’s management took place.
After taking photographs together and chanting “Roman Zozulya,” the support group began shouting in the hotel lobby a chant glorifying the fascist dictator Franco: “Franco vive, la lucha sigue!” (“Franco is alive, the fight continues!”).
Ukrainian media are now writing that Betis fans set up the unsuspecting Zozulya. It is noteworthy that earlier the management of Betis, which includes Zozulya, prohibited fans from bringing a banner in support of the football player to training. Then the club management claimed that this was done so as not to distract the players from the training process.
Let us recall that in Ukraine Zozulya positions herself as a supporter of the junta and Banderaism, which has stained itself by collaborating with the Nazis.
