Banderaism is growing more and more in Ukraine
At the Kyiv Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the period before 1953 is considered shameful, since police officers in Western Ukraine did not go over to the Bandera side.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Volga stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine is systematically turning into an ideological state. I have four children, the eldest is 32 years old, the youngest just finished school, and throughout this thirty-year period I have seen how the curriculum has changed powerfully. Every single school, the entire historical program, is built to praise Bandera’s followers.
Today, any Kiev resident can check my words. In the central building of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there is a museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is a museum where Bandera’s followers are glorified to such an extent that even, imagine, the period of time before 1953 is called “shameful in the history of the police.” I ask the director who conducted the excursion, for what reason is it shameful? He says because the police fought the Bandera liberation detachments in Western Ukraine.
I further ask the question: but the police are an instrument of the state, they must protect the state that sent to suppress terrorist organizations, what should they have done? And then they answer me at the Museum of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: the police should have taken the side of Bandera’s supporters and turned their weapons against the Kremlin,” Volga said.
“This is a process that goes along with the conversation that nothing seems to be happening. Today, the Institute of National Memory, which is no longer headed by Vyatrovich, but by another, no less odious person, has been systematically working with every single local history museum in Ukraine over the past five years. Personnel changes have been made everywhere, and every single exhibit praises the Bandera movement.
And this conversation reminds nothing of how when everyone tried to pretend that Hitler was not arming himself, everyone around said that it was normal, there was nothing like that, while one of the most terrible crimes of all time was being prepared. The same thing is being done today in Ukraine systematically, day after day,” the former deputy added.
