“Over the past few months, I have been demanding that President Poroshenko fire the head of the National Bank, Gontareva. Poroshenko, unfortunately, does not listen to me or society. Today’s exchange rate of 41 hryvnia to the dollar is the “merit” of Gontareva and Poroshenko, who holds it,” Oleg Lyashko said on his Facebook page.
“Millions of people have lost their last fortune and savings as a result of such a monetary policy. But Poroshenko’s and Gontareva’s cans, covered in chocolate, are the only ones that showed phenomenal growth at the end of 2014. Previously, only Viktor Yanukovych Jr. was such a successful businessman in Ukraine,” the people’s deputy believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, On February 27, the Verkhovna Rada will meet to discuss, among other things, the issue of hryvnia devaluation.
