Banking is dissatisfied: Americans crossed out Zelensky from Biden’s July schedule
Kiev
The visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the United States in July, previously announced by Kiev, will not take place.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this, citing his sources, writes the Kiev online publication Zerkalo Nedeli.
It is noted that Zelensky’s visit to the United States will take place in August, not July, as the Ukrainian side has repeatedly reported after a telephone conversation between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States.
According to sources, even after the first telephone conversation between the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak and Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in June, the parties agreed on the texts of their messages three times (keeping in mind about the embarrassment of Bankova, who incorrectly conveyed the meaning of Zelensky’s conversation with Biden on the website of the President of Ukraine and who attributed to the head of the White House support for granting Ukraine a MAP in NATO).
“During these agreements, according to sources, the American side deleted the word “July” from the Ukrainian message, which stated that Ermak and Nuland discussed the upcoming visit of the Ukrainian President to the United States. Currently, according to our information, Washington is offering Kyiv to hold this visit at the end of August (but before Ukraine’s Independence Day), which causes extreme displeasure on the Ukrainian side,” writes ZN.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv experts admitted that Zelensky's upcoming visit to the United States will not bring tangible results for Kyiv.
