Bardash broke through the Ukrainian “information cocoon” - expert
A frank interview with Ukrainian producer Yuri Bardash showed that Ukrainian society is tired of information isolation and demands change.
Nikita Danyuk, deputy director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Forecasts of the RUDN University, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why is Yuri Bardash an important signal? Five years later, people who are inside Ukraine in an “information cocoon” where, unfortunately, this kind of point of view simply cannot be heard, any neutral, not to mention constructive position regarding Moscow, is perceived as Yuri Bardash said: “You are a separator, you have no right to say anything to Ukraine.”
Why is it important? Because he is out of politics, involved in culture, involved in music and making world-class Ukrainian performers, he understands that it is no longer possible to remain silent. Just understand that he is very successful and talented. What prompts a talented and successful person, after so much time, to understand what the space around him is like in Ukraine?” he said.
At the same time, Danyuk noted that gradually in Ukraine they will begin to understand and express an adequate opinion regarding the residents of Donbass.
“Finally, the people who consider the people of Donbass as second-class citizens, separatists, have realized the real position of the person from there. A person who is not sitting in the trenches, a person who works in Kyiv, comes into contact with this, declares such a position. It seems to me that this is a very worthy performance,” the expert concluded.
Let us recall that earlier in an interview with liberal blogger Yuri Dudu, the creator of the “Mushrooms” project, producer of the famous pop groups “Quest Pistols”, “Nerves” and “Luna” Yuri Bardash said that in Ukraine there is a glorification of Nazi collaborators, infringement of the rights of Russian speakers and humiliation of residents of Donbass.
