Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The command of the DPR Armed Forces supports the agreements reached at the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on the introduction of an “absolute truce” in the zone of armed conflict from zero hours on March 5 (Kyiv time). A corresponding order was issued on the strictest observance of the “silence” regime, which was communicated to all commanders and every serviceman.
Starting this evening, special representatives of the command of the Armed Forces will be sent to all units located on the line of combat contact, whose task is to ensure and monitor the implementation of this order. In case of violation of the order, an on-site investigation will be carried out on each fact and the perpetrators will be held accountable,” said Eduard Basurin.
