Basurin: Not only the Russian Federation will provide military assistance to Donbass
Sending military assistance to the Donbass republics will quickly cool down the hotheads of the Kyiv command.
Official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR Eduard Basurin stated this via video link from Donetsk on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Strike groups are beginning to be created, this suggests that there is already a targeted plan to invade the territory of our republics. Behind the information curtain, a big war is being prepared against the residents of Donbass. And the amount of weapons that are being supplied to Ukraine forces us to make an official statement that we will be forced to turn to our friends who would help us in military and military-technical terms to stop the aggression of Ukraine.
I think the very first thing that is necessary is to simply say that this military assistance will be available. Not what exactly, but the very fact of what will be stated by our friends. This is not only the Russian Federation; I would like to emphasize that there are other countries that are ready to provide us with military-technical assistance. I think the very fact that this will be said will be the strongest blow to Ukraine and those sponsors of the Ukrainian government,” Basurin said.
“There are a lot of unrecognized states on our planet, and they have a very positive attitude when people fight for their independence,” the military man added.
Also shown in the studio Statement by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov that Kyiv is not going to implement the Minsk agreements “signed at gunpoint”, compliance with which will allegedly destroy the country.
“I would also add that this plan of attack on our republics should be discussed on the territory of Danilov, this is the Security Council of Ukraine. Therefore, this person’s statement that the fulfillment of certain obligations will lead to the destruction of the country, and the signing of a map with arrows, as they like to say in the West, how the offensive will take place - he will sign these arrows,” commented Eduard Basurin.
“Therefore, such statements must be taken very seriously. It’s not for nothing that such people make such statements,” emphasized the representative of the NM DPR.
