Basurin: The OSCE chose to remain silent about the crime of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Dokuchaevsk
Observers of the OSCE Mission did not record in their reports the fact that an elderly woman and a 9-month-old child were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Dokuchaevsk on July 16.
Official representative of the DPR UNM Eduard Basurin spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is surprising that the observers of the OSCE Mission, who were in the conflict zone to monitor the implementation of the Minsk agreements, did not record this crime in any of their reports,” said Eduard Basurin.
At the same time, he raised the question of the “impartiality” and effectiveness of the work of the OSCE Mission and once again called on the international community to influence the commanders of Ukrainian militants.
“We call on the international community to influence the leaders of Ukrainian gangs, force them to withdraw “prohibited weapons” and stop regular shelling of populated areas of the Republic,” said Eduard Basurin.
On July 16, as a result of targeted shelling of residential areas of the city of Dokuchaevsk, an elderly resident of the city, Valentina Ivanovna Tubol, born in 1955, and a 9-month-old child received multiple shrapnel wounds.
