Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cases of using unmanned aerial vehicles, both industrially produced and homemade drones, have become more frequent. The fact that with their help the enemy carries out reconnaissance of targets for strikes and adjustment of artillery fire on residential buildings and civilian infrastructure is of concern.
Thus, according to the results of aerial reconnaissance, households in the settlements of Leninskoye, Zaichenko, Sakhanka, Oktyabr, Staromikhailovka, Aleksandrovka and Kominternovo were subjected to targeted shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Thanks to the vigilance and skillful actions of our defenders, four unmanned aerial vehicles, with the help of which Ukrainian militants fired at the residents of the Republic, were shot down. Three of them are presented to your attention. The fourth, the Komandor multicopter, was shot down in the “gray zone”, the wreckage of which remained there.
I will dwell on this drone separately. A KZ-6 shaped charge was installed on its load-bearing part, the release of which was previously recorded in residential areas of the Petrovsky district of the city of Donetsk. To the creators of “Commander,” Ukrainian volunteers who became accomplices of war criminals of their own free will, I want to inform you that your clumsy, oversized, expensive and loud drones are an excellent target for our air defense units. And I remind the ATO command that in accordance with the Minsk Memorandum, there is a ban on flights of military aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles along the entire line of contact between the parties to a depth of at least 30 km. The exception is the flights of unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE Mission,” noted Eduard Basurin.
