The Azov battalion risks patrolling Mariupol only during the day
Mariupol, November 12 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Mariupol streets were taken under control by patrols of the Azov and Ivano-Frankivsk battalions with the involvement of local volunteers.

From 11:00 to 22:00, the city will be controlled by 5 groups of joint patrols, consisting of the Mariupol self-defense, the Azov and Ivano-Frankivsk battalions,” said Sector M public relations officer Yuriy Piskun, as quoted by the publication “ 0629".
Patrol groups began to suppress offenses by the Ukrainian military, local residents and identify sabotage groups in the city.
According to Colonel Piskun, at first the streets were patrolled by the 1st Patrol Group, but today the number of patrols has increased to five. Four of them control each of the city districts, the fifth group controls the railway station and bus station of Mariupol.
Representatives of the Mariupol self-defense from members of the Mariupol Squad PF were involved in patrolling. “After completing the relevant documents, members of the NGO “New Mariupol” will take part in the patrol,” said Yuriy Piskun.
Patrols have the authority to detain offenders both from among Ukrainian military personnel and from among local residents, the publication reports. The detainees will be sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the military commandant's office for proceedings in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
