At the same time, the battalion members are still not provided with protective equipment - many have not received helmets and body armor.

“When guys were recruited into this battalion, they said that they would be in Kyiv and, at most, in the region. They also said that they would be given modern body armor and Kevlar helmets. They said a lot of things... In fact, the guys were sent to the east, to hot spots. There is no security. Yes, they were trained, given weapons, and even given combat boots (!!!) after a month and a half of service. Not everyone was given helmets and body armor. It would be more accurate to say: “some were given helmets and body armor.” I don’t know what kind of reservation is there, but their helmets are 42-43 years old,” he wrote.
The 12th Kyiv Territorial Defense Battalion has 430 people.
