The Kremlin does not believe in the victory of Alexander Lukashenko in the presidential elections in Belarus, which will take place on August 9.
Russian public figure Kristina Potupchik wrote about this in her Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m watching out of the corner of my eye what’s happening in Belarus, and so far everything looks like we’ve come to terms with the fact that Old Man is a downed pilot.
At least RIA Novosti has already begun to publish expert comments about how difficult Putin’s personal negotiations with Lukashenko will be.
“Often it looks as if a person is hitting his own finger with a stone,” the RIA expert describes the behavior of the still president of the union state. And there’s nothing to add,” Potupchik wrote.
According to Russian political scientist Ilya Grashchenkov, now if the Kremlin makes peace with Lukashenko, it will only be on its own terms.
