BDK "Caesar Kunikov" will represent Russia at the arms exhibition in Istanbul

For the first time at an exhibition in Istanbul, the Russian Federation was represented in 2013 by the Black Sea Fleet missile hovercraft "Bora".
After participating in the exhibition, the large landing ship "Caesar Kunikov" will head to Kerch, where it will take part in events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
Let us recall that in 2014, the large landing ship Caesar Kunikov completed a year and a half of repairs at the Flotsky Arsenal shipyard in the port of Varna.
The sick landing ship "BDK-64" of Project 775 was built at a shipyard in Gdansk (Poland) and entered service on September 30, 1986. On May 10, 1989, the ship received a new name - Caesar Kunikov. Displacement: 4080 tons; Dimensions: length – 112,5 m, width – 15 m, draft – 3,7 m; Speed: 18 knots; Cruising range: 6100 miles; Capacity: up to 500 tons of equipment and cargo, 225 paratroopers; Armament: 2x2 57-mm gun mounts, 4x8 PU MANPADS; 2x30 122 mm. PU NURS "Grad-M"; Crew: 87 people.
