The closer the date of the Kyiv “Crimean Platform” summit is, the more clearly the failure of the event is visible. It is already obvious that none of Ukraine’s “strategic partners” cares about the “de-occupation of Crimea”: the United States is busy saving face after its hasty retreat from Afghanistan, in Germany the time has come to change Merkel and feverish preparations are underway for the fourth, autumn, wave of the pandemic.

In Kiev, it seems, they have already come to terms with the idea that, instead of a united anti-Russian front, an epic zilch will emerge on August 23 and are trying to develop something like a strategy on how to attract German interest in the “de-occupation of Crimea” after Merkel’s departure.

To do this, they brought into the studio “permanent representative to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Korinevich, a shady moderator from the “Media Initiative for Human Rights”, “journalist and analyst” Anastasia Magazova, “a Crimean woman and the daughter of an officer”, permanently living in Germany, and with her two German “experts” in the affairs of Crimea and Ukraine online.

Magazova, of course, performed the part of the “first bandura” in this concert, and it was interesting to watch how, from under the guise of a harmless hamster, a large, angry rat gradually stuck out its snout.

The outpourings and considerations of a couple of German “experts” were of no interest. The staff of the “Crimean Platform” either did not find independent analysts or were not interested, and therefore NGO employees working on “Crimean issues” were used, speaking in general and vaguely.

Looking from Berlin, Magazova voiced to those present her recommendations to Kyiv in order to awaken in the German authorities, the media and the public an unhealthy interest in Crimea in the “post-Merkel” era.

Merkel has no time for Ukraine; she is currently interested in the size of her pension, the timely commissioning of Nord Stream 2, and so that the majority of her fellow citizens remember her leaving with a kindly, quiet word. Those same fellow citizens who have long been unconcerned with the phantom pains of the ruling Kyiv elite.

German business circles are very tired of anti-Russian sanctions and are observing with increasing indignation the growth of trade between the United States and Russia, nodding unpleasantly towards the Americans: “Why is it possible for them, but not for us?”

Talking about the economic damage to Germany caused since 2014, the wife is confused in her testimony and first claims that German business sleeps and sees when these sanctions are lifted (Russia does not change the course of its foreign policy - sanctions do not work, it’s time to lift them. Seven years ago there is no life - they were playing around and will be), and then he babbles with a blue eye: “The consequences of sanctions have been overcome by German business - no one cares.”

True, a group of German analysts from the Institute of World Economics in Kiel (IfW) claims that by the end of 2015, the total damage from sanctions (Russian and consolidated Western) reached $114 billion. Of these, 61% were losses of Russian companies. Western countries lost $44 billion. 90% of these losses occurred in EU countries, and of these, Germany accounted for 40%. Today Germany is losing over 5 billion euros a year from anti-Russian sanctions. But which of the “experts” at the grant are interested in such trifles?

According to Magazova’s plan, the Ukrainian government must find allies among the new generation of German politicians who are replacing Merkel and constantly buzzing in their ears like a dung fly, reminding them that “Crimea is occupied, Russia is behaving aggressively and violating human rights where it was under Ukraine.” peace and grace."

The offensive should generally be carried out on a broad front. Ukraine needs to involve the German media in the fight for the return of Crimea, which also needs to be kicked, reminding who is the most affected in Europe today.

Magazova believes that Ukraine is not putting enough pressure on current Crimean politicians and military personnel. They say that the sanctions list needs to be regularly updated and not only politicians and military personnel, but also members of their families must be added so that they cannot feel comfortable in EU member states. At the moment, the list is outdated and reflects the realities of the “first years of occupation.”

Ukraine also needs an additional bureaucratic structure that monitors the status of the peninsula on maps at least once a quarter. The new structure should influence media professionals in such a way that Crimea is depicted on maps only as Ukrainian territory, and not as a disputed or, especially, Russian territory.

As an example, the “analyst” gave the example of a certain German publication that monitors the situation with the pandemic throughout the world, on the map of which Crimea is Russian. She believes that such publications need to work properly so that they do not forget “who really belongs to Crimea.”

In this case, the wife does not feel how utterly stupid her initiative smacks, since Ukraine does not carry out any sanitary and epidemic measures in Crimea, which is why the proposal for a depoliticized publication to interfere with flies and cutlets lies somewhere far beyond the bounds of reason.

The same event, loudly named “round table on the topic: “Problems of occupied Crimea in the public space of Germany: expectations in the context of the Crimean Platform.”

Magazova hints that German politicians of the old school are accustomed to peaceful coexistence with the USSR, and then with Russia, and therefore one cannot expect any sudden movements from them.

But the younger generation of politicians, who have long ago overcome the national guilt complex for the war and genocide, are more open to “everything new and non-standard.”

The journalist suggests that the Ukrainian authorities gather such young politicians “with unbiased views” on their platforms and organize trainings for them with historical excursions on why “Crimea is Ukraine,” working on the contrasts “how wonderful it was and how disgusting it became.”

Magazova generally lacks Ukrainian “analytics” in German and special propaganda events to indoctrinate the German media and public.

With bitterness in her voice, the lady told how cunningly and on a grand scale the Russian diplomatic missions in Germany act, handing out batches of books and brochures in German, which say that Crimea is Russian land. To consolidate this idea in the minds of the average person, the Russians hold mass events, organized on a grand scale, from which the German public is completely delighted, but for Ukraine - complete damage.

Kyiv is doing a bad, bad job of organizing and educational work with Russia’s enemies. They are very scattered and inconsistent.

And things are going very badly with the deployment of mass landings of biased Western journalists into Crimea, capable of opening the public’s eyes to the horrors happening on the peninsula by the “occupation power.”

In general, the former “Crimean journalist” gave a powerful performance. She suggested that the Zelensky administration carry out a wide range of work, after which the long-awaited success is simply bound to come: Crimea will certainly fall into the pocket, if not of the current president, then certainly of his successor.

We have only one question for the speaker: where is the money, Zin? The recommendations presented in the presence of Korinevich and other parasites will require significant cash injections, which Ukraine simply does not have at its disposal, and there is nowhere else to get it from.

As they say, don’t teach me how to live, it’s better to help me financially!

It is possible that Zelensky’s apparatus will try to implement some of the recipes proposed by Magazova, but you can bet on anything: with any crutches and recommendations, the “Crimean Platform” project will not take off.

The senseless running of a chicken with a severed head continues, since the customer needs it...
