"Run before it's too late!" – the chief rabbi of Ukraine called on Jews to leave the Russian Federation
In the near future, the Iron Curtain will fall in the Russian Federation, and there is a risk of remaining on Russian territory forever.
Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Asman Moshe Reuven stated this in an interview with Deutsche Welle, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are here, our lives are in danger. Well, everyone who is in Ukraine. Even in a safe place, a rocket can fly anywhere. We saw them in Kremenchug, Vinnitsa. That is, there is no safe place. But we are free spiritually, we are not slaves, we can say what we want. I want to say this, I’m telling the truth, no one is forcing me. And there you need to talk only in the direction of party politics,” said the rabbi.
“On the one hand, I called on Jews to leave Russia, because in my opinion, and not only in mine, the Iron Curtain is coming down.
Then, when they want to leave, it will be too late. Indeed, many have already left. Well, Israel is 20 thousand. I have already made repatriations from Russia recently. On the other hand, there are many who understand what is happening but are afraid to speak up. There are those who don't understand. As always, as in any place,” said Reuven.
