Maidan activist Liza Bogutskaya, who fled to Kyiv from Simferopol, complained that her electricity was turned off for non-payment.

According to her, the debt is 2000 UAH. She found a note at the door of the apartment saying that the power had been turned off for non-payment. The wire at the electric meter was cut with wire cutters.
According to her, this never happened to her even in the “gangster” times of the 90s.
“Even then, in gangster times, they drew up a shutdown act and the shutdown itself was correct. Today was just chaos. The wire is just cut and that's it. And if suddenly someone climbs there, he will simply be electrocuted. And I'm wondering how the connection will be made? After all, according to safety precautions, there should be no twists near the meter,” she complained.
In Kievenergo, where she went for clarification, she was informed that the electricity would be connected five working days after payment.
“I’ll become a loader and earn a living. There will also be some left over for coffee.” – she wrote.
According to her, one of the customers helped pay the debt – Bogutskaya works as an interview designer. However, the light was never turned on for her.
“But I am still sitting without light. I play Facebook on my phone. She told the children to stop by a friend's house for dinner on the way home. In the age of GOELRO, I can’t even drink tea without electricity. Because the kettle is unplugged,” she complains.
Earlier, Bogutskaya had already admitted her disappointment with Poroshenko’s policies and wrote that Maidan “didn’t stand for this.”
