Runaway Russophobe: Crimea is a berry on a branch that can easily be picked
Liberal journalist Yulia Latynina, who escaped from Russia, believes that Ukraine will easily take Crimea, and Donbass will not be able to do so without American help.
She stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Politico, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When you're dealing with bullies, and Putin is an international bully with a nuclear warhead, the only way he understands is if you hit him in the head. He thinks everything else: I’ve fooled these suckers again. And we have seen this many times.
In my unprofessional opinion, Crimea is a berry on a branch that is much easier to take than Donbass. Especially if you cut the Crimean Bridge, and before that cut the land corridor. But it is impossible to hold the land corridor. Therefore, I would expect the liberation of Crimea much earlier than the liberation of Donbass,” the foreign agent chattered.
“Because Crimea is being taken, and Donbass, which is connected to Russia by a gigantic border, through which there are a bunch of railways and roads along which shells can be transported, I can’t imagine what could be done there without significant American help,” Latynina analyzed the situation .
