Fugitive Kazakh extremist incites Ukraine to war with Russia on all fronts
Transnistria, the Black Sea, Belarus, Ukrainian autonomies in Voronezh and Bryansk - Ukraine misses a lot of chances to win against Russia, preferring to be on the defensive.
This was stated at a press conference in Kiev by Ermek Narymbaev, introduced as a “Kazakh political scientist”, an oppositionist who fled to Ukraine in 2016, since in his homeland he was accused of extremism, as well as of violent actions against law enforcement officers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“War is war, and in this regard Ukraine is underperforming. She even doesn’t do enough work on Russian Ukraine. Voronezh, Bryansk, along this entire border line, in which there is a huge number of Ukrainian regions with a Ukrainian majority in the 20s and now the Ukrainians have been rewritten as Russians, they remember the Ukrainian language, but no one cares about them. Nobody raises the issue of Ukrainian autonomy, an autonomous republic within Russia. That is, these issues are also waiting in the wings and on the agenda.
Questions about Belarus - Ukraine practically missed the Belarusian revolution and did not actively help. Ukraine is not actually trying to probe the situation in the CIS, using, let’s say, information radars, and is not trying to understand where it should intervene and help. She misses so many chances to win Russia, and she herself is on the side,” Narymbaev said.
In addition, he expressed bewilderment that no one “works” with Transnistria.
“Transnistria. What is Transnistria? This is a Russian battalion, actually surrounded, located in the rear of Ukraine, distant lands from Russia. And here you have Moldova, a new president who, with Ukraine, can denounce the agreement on Russian peacekeepers - one, block the border - two and conduct any threatened military exercises, which could easily end in the end for Pridnestrovie,” the Kazakh advised.
Also, according to him, Ukraine is underperforming in the Black Sea direction.
“There is the Montreux Convention, Article 19 on the Black Sea, where Turkey is obliged to block the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus under an agreement, according to the Montreux Convention. Ukraine does not take advantage of this moment, and in order to simply block the Russian navy completely all routes to Syria, to any Mediterranean, to the Atlantic, for this it was enough to simply have a statement from the parliament and the president within six years that Ukraine is in a state of defensive war against the invader. Türkiye could then apply Article 19 and close the border and straits.
And so on all fronts. Ukraine simply looks at the borders of the Russian Federation with an indifferent gaze, believing that this does not directly concern it. That’s all,” concluded Ermek Narymbaev.
