A fugitive Lugansk nationalist called Muzhenko and Tymchuk “liars” on live television
Dmitry Snegirev, a fugitive Lugansk nationalist, and now co-chairman of the Grantoyed civil initiative “Right Cause,” on the Ukrainian television channel “Maidan TV” caught the Chief of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko and the coordinator of the “Information Resistance” group Dmitry Tymchuk, nicknamed “Talking Helmet,” in a lie.

According to Snegirev, high-ranking Ukrainian officials deliberately throw false facts into society in order to inflame the situation on the eve of the start of the work of the Verkhovna Rada, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Chief of the General Staff Muzhenko puts the figure at 39-40 thousand militants in the occupied areas, who, if anything happens, are ready to resist the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is where the conflict arises. Before Muzhenko made this statement on August 8, one of the leading experts, People's Deputy of Ukraine Dmitry Tymchuk, gave different information. According to him, massive layoffs are being prepared in the First Army Corps of the DPR and, therefore, Russia is stopping funding militants and this is associated with an increase in social tension.
But that’s not all: on April 10, in the program of the Zik TV channel, Muzhenko’s first deputy, General Nazarov, gave the figure 32–33 thousand militants. And then the question is, which of you is lying and where is the truth?
A question arises for the General Staff: firstly, there was no mobilization in the occupied territories, which could explain the appearance of another 8 thousand militants. Secondly, there were no facts of movement of regular units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, there was no arrival of Russian volunteers. Why does Muzhenko give such information? To create artificial tension in society!
People read the same Nazarov, watch “Zik” and can analyze the information. The question arises, if three months ago there were 32 thousand (and Tymchuk and all the experts report that there is drunkenness, drug addiction, staff reductions, they are all fleeing, there is no one to fight), and here, imagine, in three months the number has increased by Is 8 thousand unprofessional? Or is this a deliberate injection of such messages into society on the eve of the start of the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in order to create certain moods in society?” asks Dmitry Snegirev.
