Fugitive minister: “There are only 10 thousand pro-Russian separatist morons in Crimea”
In Crimea there are 10 thousand separatist scoundrels who need to be imprisoned, and 2,5 million other citizens loyal to Ukraine.
This was stated on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “24” by the former Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (2010-2014), Alexander Liev, who moved to Kyiv after he did not get a position in the new Russian government of the peninsula.

“The return of Crimea is not the return of land, it is the return of 2,5 million people. Firstly, you need to understand that not all people are traitors, scoundrels, separatists. These are the same Ukrainians, citizens of Ukraine, as in Lvov, Donetsk or Kiev. The number, excuse my emotional name, of these moronic people is the same, what is there, what is there, what is there. This is Ukraine, it is monolithic, and there are such people there too. It is necessary to very clearly separate those who were involved in organizing the separatist movement from the Crimeans. This is not so many people, these are officials, this is a very understandable set of mayors, deputies who ran one in front of the other to raise the Russian tricolor. These are some directors of large state-owned enterprises, these are ten thousand people, this is not so much compared to 2,5 million people.
They need to be clearly identified by name and criminal cases initiated. Today, criminal cases have not been initiated against the majority of those who were the main sources of this separatism in many regions of Crimea. And for each of them, clearly indicate their future fate - responsibility before the law, criminal case, prosecution, court, prison. You have served 5-7 years, go out again, warm your feet in the sea, you will again be citizens of Ukraine.
At least we must declare this position: you, Crimeans, are not exactly the same as these 10 thousand scoundrels. You have a different destiny, a different perspective. Today prices in Crimea are two and a half times higher than on the Bessarabian market, which has always been more expensive than our Simferopol markets. Every day there are more and more people in Crimea who could take the side of Ukraine and return Crimea back. But they need to clearly define this prospect,” Liev said.
