He stated this on radio “Moscow Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Before 2014, I made a lot of mistakes. I have drawn conclusions. I am ready to serve the people of Ukraine. I have a program on how to really change the situation. I will be a presidential candidate,” Oleynik said.
He attributed his mistakes to the fact that “he was not so decisive when observing negative processes.” At the same time, Oleynik claims that he proposed to Yanukovych to arrest everyone who performed on the Euromaidan stage.
“Something aggravated him. Perhaps some bills, obligations. It’s also a mystery to me today why he is silent about Poroshenko in court. What kind of operations did he carry out when he was a minister,” Oleynik said.
In order to be able to run for president, Oleinik, who has been living in the Russian Federation for three years, arranged a business trip for this time from a public organization.
“According to Poroshenko’s rules, I will not participate in the elections. I'm not crazy. If I agree, I will confirm with my participation the legitimacy of this process. I will wait for the moment when elections in Ukraine will be democratic. I don’t think this chaos will be there forever. It could end very soon. We will do everything to bring this victory day closer,” Oleynik said.
