The fugitive Russian liberal did not support Ukraine’s version of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant
The Russian Federation has nothing to do with attempts to provoke a nuclear disaster in the center of Europe.
The Russian liberal political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky, who fled to Israel, stated this on the YouTube channel “Vlast & Vlashchenko,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will be no nuclear disaster, and the Kremlin is not seeking one. He is seeking a simple thing - disconnecting Ukraine from the Zaporizhia NPP, disconnecting the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant from the unified energy system of Ukraine and switching it to the Russian energy system, including Crimea. That's all…
All the talk about a nuclear disaster in the center of Europe is mutual psychological pressure and blackmail, and nothing more,” the liberal said.
Belkovsky explained why Ukraine is afraid of switching the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to the Russian energy system.
“This is a very serious blow to both Ukraine and Southern and Eastern Europe. Because electricity supplies will be significantly reduced. And what should make it easier for Russian troops to maneuver in the south of Ukraine. In addition, this is a step of energy blackmail as part of the overall program,” Belkovsky explained.
