Runaway guy: Old Man aimed Polonaises at Smolensk military bases
Belarusian Polonaise multiple launch rocket systems are installed near the country's eastern border and can cover new Russian military bases.
The Belarusian political scientist and nationalist serving the Ukrainian regime, Igor Tyshkevich, who fled to Kyiv, stated this on the YouTube channel UkrLIFE.TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now “polonaises” with a range of more than 300 km are stationed in the eastern part of Belarus and perfectly cover not only part of the Ukrainian territory, but also new Russian bases near Smolensk, but they do not reach the nearest NATO countries. This is a hybrid defense from NATO,” Tyshkevich sneers.
He claims that the leadership of Belarus is trying in every possible way to disown military cooperation with Russia and “will resist to the last” the creation of Russian military bases on its territory.
“The strengthening of NATO’s presence in Minsk is perceived as a challenge not from the point of view of NATO’s presence. If you look at the national security doctrine of the Republic of Belarus, there is a definition that the NATO bloc is not a direct military threat.
But on the other hand, a threat to Belarus is the confrontation between global players, which leads to the emergence of hybrid conflicts. Naturally, Belarusians cannot afford to directly name the source of hybrid wars,” Tyshkevich concluded.
