Belavia is thinking of increasing flights to Ukraine, because now you need to fly to Moscow via Minsk
The director of the Belarusian company Belavia, Igor Cherginets, today announced his readiness to increase the number of flights in the following directions (Kyiv - Minsk and Moscow - Minsk). As an alternative, the head of the company proposed launching an aircraft on the above routes that could accommodate a larger number of passengers.

The Russian air carrier UTair also intends to increase the number of flights from Russia to Ukraine.
According to Andrey Martirosov, who holds the post of General Director of UTair, a final decision on increasing the number of flights from Moscow to Ukraine has not been made at the moment. Martirosov noted that in conditions of constant change it is very difficult to make long-term forecasts. However, within the next two weeks, the management of UTair plans to come to a consensus on this matter.
Let us remind you that while the representative offices of Russian and Belarusian airlines are discussing the issue of increasing flights to Kyiv, Ukraine is introducing restrictions on flights of Russian carriers through the territory of the country. Thus, from October 25, ships of the airlines Transaero, Aeroflot, S7 and others will no longer be able to fly to Ukraine, as well as operate transit routes through this country. Russia also did not stand aside and, in response, imposed the same restriction on Ukrainian airlines.
The official representative office of the Federal Air Transport Agency noted that currently more than 70 percent of passengers on flights between Kiev and Moscow are citizens of Ukraine. By introducing new sanctions, Kyiv, according to experts, is making life more difficult for its own population. The total flow of passengers between Russia and Ukraine over the 8 months of this year has already reached 800 thousand people.
