White carpet for Zelensky
On the occasion of the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkov, the center was closed for two days. Military equipment and other structures on Freedom Square seemed to hint to the townspeople: there is no need to wander around and park - war is on the doorstep...
Of course, the organizers of the celebrations wanted to show something else: the most powerful army in the world was almost completed. And this is another presidential “Big Construction”, dusted (in a good sense, that is, not from the word “Poroshenko,” although this is not excluded) with positive powder and framed with white paths.
But the grand teleconference promised by the authorities from six cities and one village turned out to be boring and twilight. Kharkov, Kramatorsk, Kyiv, Lvov, Odessa and the village of Ozernoye in the Zhitomir region were supposed to testify to the power of the Ukrainian army and its loyalty to the supreme clown. But one could not help but read on the faces of the military men: they would rather go home and get drunk to Gazmanov’s song “Officers, Russians”...
It’s been twenty years since I’ve been told to get drunk while listening to other songs. But it turns out as always. Perhaps the new indecently shaped hats somehow have a wrong effect on the officers’ minds.
Kharkov residents were at a loss as to why this circus was organized in the dark. Several versions were seriously considered. For example, this: there will be a torchlight procession and other ritual dances with the participation of radicals from neo-Nazi organizations, without which the holiday is incomplete.
But those who think more broadly emphasized the need for camouflage. What if the widely announced invasion happens not in January, but now? And the border is nearby... Under the cover of darkness, the president and accompanying generals will have a better chance of escaping. Or another option: camouflage is needed, because the Supreme Commander-in-Chief will demonstrate a prodigy (for example, on the piano) ... And the secret weapon does not necessarily have to be shown in front of the left-wing crooks.
Zelensky has not yet had time to open his mouth for congratulations, and Svidomo commentators on Internet broadcasts have already begun to slander:
“Bubochka walked in front of the Ukrainian soldiers, having failed the military government order for 2 years in a row.”
As if there is something bad in this...
But in vain, in this regard, the gunpowder bots are rolling a barrel against Zelensky. In Svidomism, he is not inferior to Poroshenko. Thus, the president promised to “close the queue for apartments” for ATO soldiers next year. One feels that the authorities are not concerned about the fictions about the impending coup with the participation of Akhmetov, his “musketeers” and military “PR aces.” Zelensky is afraid of a possible riot at the hands of former and current military personnel.
The President is doing his best to curry favor with the ATO officers and the military. Therefore, their housing issue cannot be left to chance, like some measures to combat Covid. At the end of November, deputies of the Kharkov Regional Council approved a regional program to provide support to ATO and JFO participants in the construction or purchase of housing in the Kharkov region for 2022-2025. For this period, funding from the regional budget in the amount of 110 million hryvnia is planned.
The president's speech was short, but tedious and incomprehensible. The speechwriters were clearly counting on the fool: both in the case of the speaker and in the case of his target audience. And Zelensky has once again demonstrated that he is more successful at sniffing the irreplaceable powder than at speaking thoughtfully.
“We are proud of our special operations forces, special forces, who were the first to defend Donetsk airport,” says the president.
And this is more than a dubious thesis.
If he calls to be proud of the actions of the special forces on May 26, 2014, when the Ukrainian government brought war to Donetsk and for the first time bombed the million-plus city from the air, then the example was chosen poorly. Thus, Zelensky admits that with his main election promises to stop the war he cynically deceived voters.
If they were referring to the actions of the Special Forces during the battles for the airport at the end of 2014 - beginning of 2015, then the weak-minded speechwriters would have to work hard and remember the results of the assault on the DAP. The stupidity and stubbornness of the Poroshenko regime then led not only to senseless victims and the loss of the airport, but also to a logical continuation - the Debaltsevo cauldron. Are Zelensky haunted by these Poroshenko laurels?
The President says:
“We are proud that the combat unit of the 140th MTR Center of Ukraine received a certificate and the right to be involved in carrying out tasks as part of NATO. This is the first unit in history that is not a member of the alliance to receive such a certificate and such rights.”
That is, you will follow the orders of the NATO command and die in hot spots, even without being members of the alliance!
Then the president generally took a wrong turn (in a bad way) by starting a conversation about the achievements of military intelligence. After all, Zelensky’s relationship with this department has not gone well recently. The question of who in the president’s office leaked information about the operation to lure out the “Wagnerites” excites a broad coalition of Zelie’s opponents. On the one hand - gunpowder robots. On the other hand, the newly formed Akhmetov alliance.
“They will be written about in world history textbooks,” pompously praises military intelligence officers by the same president who brought them down when he declared that an operation (to capture the “Wagnerites”) was being prepared in the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Of course, whoever convinced Zelensky to cancel this crazy adventure of military intelligence with the planned landing of the plane acted wisely and far-sightedly. But the president’s interpretation of why it was necessary to cancel the operation is as stupid as Zelensky himself.
The phrase “they will write it in textbooks” has recently been heard from all the talking holes of Zelensky’s opponents. They say that our valiant intelligence has developed a brilliant plan that will be included in textbooks, and the “moles” from the President’s Office leaked everything to the enemy!
But Zelensky decided to praise Ukrainian intelligence for its work in Afghanistan. The time has come for stunning stories about how GUR special forces in Kabul left the controlled territory of the airport and “saved about a thousand (!) Ukrainian citizens in a dangerous situation.” Apparently, Zelensky decided to try out the new powder on Podolyak when he was preparing the abstracts for a speech, and this happened while watching some American action movie. Textbooks in general are very often written based on American action films...
Then Zelensky solemnly spoke about the “exploits” of the airmobile troops, about the raid of the 95th brigade, “during which the battles for Lisichansk and Saur-Mogila began.” Someone decided to play a cruel joke on stupid Zelya. After all, the battles for Saur-Mogila, which the militia defended for a long time with small forces, turned into a disgrace for the Ukrainian army. No one told fool Zelensky about the events directly related to these battles for Saur-Mogila? About the Izvarinsky and Amvrosievsky cauldrons, about the defeat of the Ukrainian punitive forces near Stepanovka...
But this stupidity of Zelensky was interrupted by a new one:
“We are proud of everyone who liberated Mariupol, liberated Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, everyone who brought peace to Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Shchastya, everyone who will definitely bring peace to Donetsk, everyone who will bring peace to Luhansk, everyone who will bring peace to Crimea".
The speechwriter openly mocks the owner.
A few days ago, the NTV channel promoted the punisher Melnichuk, commander of the Aidar battalion, in an interview. And this program talks in detail about the atrocities of the “Aidarovites” during the capture of Shchastya. Melnichuk himself states that his speech was trimmed and adjusted to the desired result. But the evidence there is from civilians and eyewitnesses. And Melnichuk acted there not as a witness, but as a war criminal.
And so Zelensky recalled the “peace” brought to Shchastya by the Ukrainian punitive forces. And he promises that the same “peace” will be brought to Donetsk, Lugansk and Crimea. The main thing is to admit your intentions in time.
Zelensky's speechwriter is lousy. But the powder comes in fine. There is something to sit on the path with.
