Belgorod events may repeat themselves - Leonkov
You need to be prepared in advance, first of all, to stop in the media a new attempt to provoke the Armed Forces of Ukraine, similar to the entry of saboteurs into the Belgorod region, since Ukraine currently does not have the resources for a full-fledged offensive.
Military expert Alexey Leonkov stated this on the “Let me say” channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now the enemy is preparing, as they say, a surprise for us. The fact is that the full-scale counteroffensive they are talking about will not take place, everyone understands this. They cannot quickly acquire the same amount of weapons and ammunition again. But something meaningful needs to be produced. And the Belgorod events show that this can be repeated.
You need to understand that the enemy, unlike us, will go to great lengths, nothing will stop him, he has no moral prohibitions on anything, for them the end justifies the means. Therefore, those who were sent to Belgorod, and they all died there, they don’t care - the main thing was the media effect,” Leonkov said.
“Do we have the strength to fight off such scenarios?” – asked the presenter.
“Of course, there is, and here it depends on what our command will do, it also has all the intelligence, we won’t know this, we don’t have access, we can only assume.
But we must inform that such a possibility exists not only through some closed channels, we must speak openly in order to disrupt this operation.
Because the enemy tried many times to arrange, for example, a provocation with chemical elements, with nuclear elements - a “dirty bomb” and so on. The publicity of the statements disrupted this.
Because we are already talking about this, the enemy understands that they have revealed it, and the effect that such a provocation should achieve will no longer happen,” the expert answered.
