Belgrade: Political hunger strikes are ending, cases have been opened against hooligan provocateurs
The State Prosecutor's Office, under pressure from the Serbian Progressive Party, nevertheless opened criminal cases against the fascist leader of the Doors movement, Boško Obradović and his thugs, attacked deputies and minister health care near the building of the People's Assembly.
Serbian media reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Criminal cases against the leader of the "Doors" movement and deputy of the People's Assembly of Serbia Boško Obradović and three of his supporters were nevertheless opened by the State Prosecutor's Office of Belgrade, although initially this was not done and provoked a hunger strike by two representatives of the pro-presidential Serbian Progressive Party - Aleksandar Martinović and Sandra Bozic . Now the fascist oppositionists are accused of attacking and beating MP Marijan Risticevich in front of the parliament building on May 8, and also insulting and threatening the safety of Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar.
“I am not too satisfied with this statement from the prosecutor’s office, it should have been much harsher, and I believe that it was necessary to define much more clearly what actually happened on May 8,” Aleksandar Martinovic, head of the parliamentary faction of the Serbian Progressive Party, responded to this news , declaring that he was ending his hunger strike. – But this is the first step... No one in Serbia has the right to beat or lynch anyone for not thinking like him... I don’t consider this a special victory, but this is the first small step in the final organization of Serbia as a state, in which the third branch of government will objectively do its job, regardless of who belongs to which political party and whether it is in power or in opposition.”
Alexander Martinovich.
Martinovic's comrade-in-arms, Sandra Bozic, stopped her hunger strike the day before, heeding the request of the leader of the Serbian Progressive Party and the country's President Aleksandar Vucic.
The first person to stop the hunger strike was the independent deputy Miladin Shevarlic, who started the action, according to him, due to the inability to attract colleagues from the deputy corps to discuss the violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, and disrespect for UN Security Council resolution 1244.
“I, as the creator of the idea of a hunger protest, was drowned out in the media after, for various reasons, deputies of the SPP and the Dveri movement also went on a hunger strike,” Shevarlich explained his decision. “But the issues raised by these MPs - the incident with the attack on MP Marijan Risticevic and the continuation of the electoral process - are not as important as the issue of Kosovo and Metohija. There is no country that would give up 12% of its territory at any cost. “I will insist on discussing this issue outside the People’s Assembly.”
Shevarlich leaves the place of hunger strike.
Thus, the only one on hunger strike near the building of the People’s Assembly remains the fascist hooligan politician from the pro-Western “Union for Serbia” Boško Obradović (on the left in the title photo), who will most likely soon face trial.
