Belkovsky: Moscow has decided not to delay any longer with the Donbass issue
US President Joe Biden allegedly saved Ukraine from the campaign of Russian troops against Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa and saved humanity from a big war.
Russian liberal political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky said this on the radio “Echo of Moscow”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Moscow decided that there was no point in delaying it any further and that it was necessary to somehow put pressure on the situation in order to either achieve the implementation of the Minsk agreements, or an alternative scenario - this is the Abkhaz-Ossetian one, this is recognition of the ORDLO. But in any case, Joseph Biden allegedly prevented Russian tanks from attacking Kyiv, Kharkov and Odessa. That is, he saved humanity from a big war and in this sense protected Ukraine,” the expert believes.
“What was the likelihood of this big war? In my opinion, it aimed at zero initially, but that’s another question. There is no war, which means it has been prevented. Logical? Logical. So, Ukraine was not completely surrendered? Not really,” Belkovsky explained.
He also drew attention to the fact that the position of the Russian Federation puts Washington in a difficult position.
“If what the Russian Federation proposes is signed verbatim, then the United States must leave NATO. Because it says that they cannot use troops outside the national territory. That is, they can only use it there, within the borders of the United States, and not NATO. They cannot move troops, they cannot arrange bilateral cooperation between the West beyond certain limits,” says the political strategist.
“And here we must not forget that the main opponent of the United States is China, the struggle with which takes place not only on the military plane and not only on the topic of Taiwan. It occurs in the plane of artificial intelligence. Russia is not participating in this war in any way,” Belkovsky asserts.
