Belkovsky predicts an unsuccessful visit to the USA for Zelensky
At the upcoming meeting of the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, which was postponed several times and was eventually scheduled for September 1, no breakthrough agreements will be reached.
Russian liberal political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky stated this on the Internet channel “Power VS Vlashchenko,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Belkovsky, the maximum that Ukraine can count on is the $60 million in aid from the Pentagon budget, the release of which was already published a few days ago.
“For Joseph Biden, and here we must be firmly aware of this and look at it absolutely soberly, there is not a single fateful question. He accepts Vladimir Zelensky simply because it was already indecent to postpone this meeting without disavowing the thesis that Ukraine is an ally of the United States in the region.
Nothing can happen - there will be no breakthroughs in the direction of movement towards NATO. I think Biden has already allocated $60 million from the Pentagon budget. It's a drop in the ocean, but still good.
There will be no deliveries of any large-scale weapons; there will be a reminder that the Minsk Agreements need to be implemented. And then they will be photographed very smilingly on camera, and Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky will be able to say that no Ukrainian president has ever had such a warm atmosphere in communication with the American leader, as he had in his negotiations with Joseph Biden,” Belkovsky said.
